Come dance with us!  Using creative movement and DanceAbility techniques we will explore basic concepts of movement improvisation based on things that can be done by ALL participants.  Together we will explore the joy and beauty of communicating through the language of dance and movement.  Suitable for all ages, all abilities and all fitness levels.

Cost is by donation.

Kelsie Action is a PhD candidate studying inclusive dance at the University of Alberta. She's a founding member of Soliddance Inclusive Recreation, has taught inclusive dance for eight years and is certified in DanceAbiliity, the only internationally recognized certification in teaching accessibly movement improvization.  As Co-Artistic Director of CRIPSiE her choreography has been supported by the Edmonton Arts Council, the Alberta Foundation for the Arts and the Canada Council.  She also provides accessibility consulting to arts organizations such as the Edmonton International Fringe Festival, Found Festival, and the Canada Dance Assembly with the goal of building a more diverse, accessibly arts ecology.
